POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will provide technical assistance to computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients through the use of remote technology, in person or via telephone. This position will also provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware, printers or other peripheral hardware.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, within warranty guidelines.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
  • Assist in the deployment of mass software or hardware upgrades or installations.
  • Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades. Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
  • Inspect equipment or monitor operating conditions, as necessary, to ascertain compliance with software licensing.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and make recommendations on new software or hardware purchases to Technical Support or Support Services Manager.
  • Conduct training for Support Center personnel and customers when necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree plus five years’ experience. Additional experience may substitute for education. This position requires knowledge and understanding of Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager. General knowledge of computer networking technology, hardware and software installation and configuration, and technical knowledge and experience of microcomputer Operating. This position also requires the ability to establish productive working relationships with diverse customer groups, quickly and effectively analyze software and hardware problems and implement solutions, as well as organize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge of court operations in both limited and general jurisdiction courts.

Travel level: up to 90% within the State. Must have valid Arizona Driver’s License.

SELECTION PROCESS:

This is a Regular, Full-time, Non-Exempt position.
