EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Working under the general direction of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program Manager and Information Technology Division (ITD), this position is responsible for analyzing and resolving CASA database user errors and bugs in addition to completing maintenance and enhancements. A detailed understanding of the database and CASA policy is critical to meeting the needs of staff and volunteer end-users across the state in a timely manner. This position will document and work across all levels of the IT department to design, develop, test, and deploy programming changes to the database. Providing informational training documentation regarding completed enhancements to state and county CASA staff is also an assigned task of this position.

Additionally, this position will work with state CASA staff to create and maintain quality assurance and data reports, provide information training, develop and maintain web-based applications, and maintain communication with state county CASA program staff.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, and at least five years of experience utilizing C#, .NET, MVC, and SQL to design, develop, test, and deploy database changes to web-based applications. Relevant work experience may substitute for a college degree. Additionally, this position requires expertise in HTML and advanced web development technology. A solid knowledge and understanding of design and analysis process, superior writing and verbal communication skills, excellent research, organization, planning skills, and knowledge of project management. This position also requires the ability to handle multiple tasks for extended periods of time, and work under deadlines.

The preferred candidate will have software development training or experience, knowledge of DES/Child Protection Services, and knowledge of the CASA Program.

Travel: up to 10% of in state travel

This is a Regular, Full-time, Exempt position.
