HIRING SALARY:
$53,956.00 - $62,040.00 annualized

EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM:

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will provide direct support to the Presiding Disciplinary Judge (PDJ). Responsibilities include preparing orders, decisions, and judgments; reviewing filings with the Disciplinary Clerk for calendaring and appropriate action; reviewing consent agreements and drafting orders for the PDJ’s review; assembling and disseminating hearing exhibits; maintaining an exhibit worksheet for purposes of the record on appeal; performing set-up for hearings, attending and recording all hearings and telephone conferences. This position will also provide back-up assistance and coverage to the Disciplinary Clerk; perform legal research; and assist with public/media information requests.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s or paralegal certificate, plus at least 3 years’ experience with a court, law office, or administrative/regulatory agency. Experience performing legal research and drafting legal documents, strong writing skills, oral communication skills, attention to detail, organization skills, and analytical ability. This position also requires the ability to work with limited supervision and to meet deadlines while handling several concurrent projects, and to work effectively and professionally with volunteers, staff, parties to the proceedings, and the public. This position requires technological proficiency, including with Windows-based programs and virtual meeting platforms.

This is a Regular, Full-time, Non-Exempt position.
