POSITION SUMMARY:
This technical position is responsible for the maintenance, support and service availability of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) Windows server computing environment, Windows Exchange environment and provides systems administrative functions and support for our production application environments.  This position is also responsible for, but is not limited to, working and coordinating with vendors to ensure that current technologies are reviewed and incorporated into the design and growth forecasting of our Windows server environment.

Other duties assigned to the Sr. Windows Systems Administrator include: responsible for design, installation, configuration, and all maintenance activities associated with the Windows server systems in the State Courts Building; as well as responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and daily support activities of our VMware Clustered environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.  Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.  Additional requirements include a minimum of five years’ experience as a Sr. Windows Systems Administrator and three or more year’s strong working experience in support of Microsoft Exchange, VMware clustered environments and the use of Microsoft PowerShell scripting.  Strong hands on experience with server builds, deployment and application/patch management is also required.

Travel level: Negligible.
