EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM:
This position is eligible for an employee referral incentive payment of $1,000.00 (conditions apply).

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Specialist performs administrative duties for the Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC), Judicial Performance Review (JPR), and Human Resources Department. Responsibilities of the position include providing program support to JPR by compiling Commission notebooks, assisting at the Public Vote Meeting, entering appellate survey data monthly, and assembling training materials. Providing program support to JNC by receiving and logging judicial applications, organizing letters of recommendation, organizing meeting materials and assisting the JNC Administrator with meetings. Additional functions include but are not limited to; providing support to the Human Resources Department by scheduling interviews, coordinating, and administering applicant testing, compiling new hire orientation training materials; and maintaining the employee service anniversary recognition program.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent plus four years of related experience. Other requirements include the ability to convey a positive and professional image and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and to the public, perform detailed work requiring initiative and judgment, handle several tasks, projects, assignments simultaneously, work independently with minimal supervision, and with a team. This position also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office products, and effective organizational and time management skills.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Only applicants whose backgrounds most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to interview. The Selection Process may include computer testing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, proofreading, typing, etc.) and first and/or second-round panel interviews. This is a Regular, Full-time, Non-exempt level position.
