EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM:

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for operation of the Mail Center and the Arizona Courts Building.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing mailroom services to all building tenants.
  • Delivering mail to the courts Judicial Education Center.
  • Receives, collects, sorts and distributes mail to work units according to pre-determined schedule.
  • Sort, bundle, and prepare bulk permit mailing according to postal regulations.
  • Serve as first point on contact for suspicious mail and inspects bio-hazard equipment.
  • Operate postage meter, maintains postage equipment, and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Accounts for postage usage by account designations, collects and transmits receipts from postage to Finance.
  • Maintains “postage by phone” meter accounts and orders postage as required.
  • Orders, receives, and stocks mailing supplies and office supplies.
  • Responsible for all Shipping & Receiving.
  • Responsible for collecting receipts for personal packages shipped by Supreme Court staff, reconciling receipts, transmitting receipts and receipt logs to finance for proper accounting.
  • Provides Print Shop support with punching and binding and other equipment.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires knowledge
of postage equipment and office machine operation and care, postal requirements and commercial carrier requirements, and office supplies by type, variety, customary quantities, and quality. This position also requires skills in safe operation and routine maintenance of office equipment, safe operation of a motor vehicle. As well as the ability to follow moderately complex written and oral instructions, manage multiple tasks within short deadlines, readily adapt to a rapidly changing situations, and maintain a clean and neat work area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATION:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to walk for a significant portion of each day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel to suppliers, pick up supplies and make deliveries.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

Travel level: up to 5%
