POSITION SUMMARY:
The Education Services Division (ESD) of the Arizona Supreme Court is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative support duties in the coordination of statewide education projects and programs. This position also schedules and staffs committee meetings including taking minutes and preparing meeting materials; handles communications, logistics, registration, and facilitation of training conferences and seminars; produces reports, contracts, and legal documents; maintains program documentation and tracking information; and plans schedules and controls workflow related to projects. This position will also receive incoming calls and visitors to the Division, and update and the Division web site information.
The position is located in the Judicial Education Center at: 3003 N. Central, Suite 500 * Phoenix, Arizona 85012
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus three years of increasingly responsible experience in a full-function office. Knowledge and experience with a variety of office software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and general office equipment is also required. Other requirements include excellent oral and written communication skills with a minimum 3 years’ experience creating business correspondence; excellent organizational and time management skills, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting multiple staff and/or projects; excellent grammar and proofreading skills; the ability to complete detailed work accurately and in a timely manner; ability to follow oral and written instructions and manage several ongoing projects; and ability to monitor deadlines and provide appropriate follow-up.
Knowledge of the Arizona court system, design and delivery of education programs is preferred.
Travel level: negligible.
