POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports judicial education programs for judges statewide by planning, coordinating, administering, and implementing assigned programs, including conferences, trainings, and other branch-wide initiatives to improve job-related competencies of the Arizona Judicial Branch. Additionally, this position works closely with committees, AOC divisions, and justice stakeholders to ensure programs are effectively delivered and aligned with strategic goals.

Other responsibilities include providing expert-level consultation and development of judicial education training programs, facilitating ongoing curriculum and program development for existing and new programs, investigate and recommend alternative delivery methods for various education program components, conduct expert-level instruction on various subjects, including adult education best practices and staff-focused development topics. This position will also gather and analyze data to identify causes in performance gaps as well as assess other education and training needs while also providing recommendations for training solutions. Develop procedures and recommend policies, maintain written and oral communication among a variety of stakeholders, as well as adapt develop education and training programs for use on eLearning platforms.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will have a degree in education, legal studies, criminal justice, or related field and seven related years’ experience, including court or legal experience. Knowledge of court operations, structure, related statutes, and Arizona Rules of Court, knowledge and experience in the development, delivery, and evaluation of education programs, including remote delivery, and proficiency in designing and developing engaging online computer-based training programs tailored to diverse learning needs and objectives. This position also requires the ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience, manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks, solve problems and act as the Supreme Court’s expert on assigned issues.

The preferred candidate will have former legal education or extensive experience working in a court, and knowledge of adult education principles, skills and ability regarding the development and delivery of adult education programs.

Travel level: up to 25%, valid driver’s license required.

SELECTION PROCESS:
