POSITION SUMMARY:
The Court Services Division of the Arizona Supreme Court is seeking a Program Specialist to join our team. This position works for the Court Operations Unit in the area of language access and interpreter credentialing. This position is responsible for responding to inquiries to the interpreter credentialing program, test scheduling for candidates of the interpreter credentialing program, serving as a test administrator (proctor) for interpreter credentialing examinations, assisting with exam audits and data entry, providing administrative support for the Court Interpreter Program Advisory Committee (CIPAC), its working groups, and assisting with scheduling and use of the Video Remote Interpreting System (VRIS), and other duties as assigned.

After an initial period of at least three months in person, this position may offer the ability to work remotely up to two days per week, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of related experience. Relevant experience may substitute for education. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organization, time management, strong knowledge of Excel including the ability to import and export data, and strong knowledge of Word. This position also requires the ability to handle and manage sensitive and confidential information, demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, the ability to understand legislation, court rules, administrative orders, policies and procedures, and the demonstrated ability to work effectively with judges, administrators, interpreters, court staff and other agencies.

The preferred candidate will have experience in the court system, preferably in Arizona, knowledge regarding processes surrounding court interpreting and translation, familiarity with professional high-stakes credentialing programs, and public speaking skills.

Some overnight travel is required for exam administration and training, not to exceed 10%. Additionally, occasional weekend work is required for exam administration, not to exceed 5%.

SELECTION PROCESS:

This is a Regular, Full-time, Non- Exempt level position.
