POSITION SUMMARY:
This position works with multi-faceted groups branch-wide developing curriculum and delivering instruction to address strategic goals and identified gaps in knowledge, skills and abilities.
Essential functions of the position include: Providing expert-level consultation and development leadership and workforce development training programs, including special projects and emerging initiatives, as well as recurring training programs and conferences; creates content and guides training participants to high-quality resources through various web applications; investigates and recommends alternative delivery methods for various education program components; works to ensure the effectiveness of alternative delivery systems that are part of assigned programs; facilitates on-going curriculum and program development for existing and new programs; and conducts expert-level instruction on various subjects including adult education best practices and staff-focused development topics.
This position will also, gather and analyze data to identify causes in performance gaps as well as assess other education and training needs of the judicial branch and provide recommendations for training solutions as appropriate; conceptualizes, researches, and writes proposals for new programs; and maintains written and oral communication between staff and committees, other divisions, division director, program participants and faculty, and others as appropriate.
The position is located in the Judicial Education Center at: 3003 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proven their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in education, legal studies, criminal justice, or a related field, along with seven years of relevant experience, including court or legal experience. Candidates must possess comprehensive knowledge of court operations, structure, relevant statutes, and Arizona Rules of Court. They should demonstrate expertise in developing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs, including remote learning formats, and have strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, is essential. Candidates must also have proven proficiency in creating engaging and effective computer-based trainings (CBTs), including designing interactive modules, incorporating multimedia elements, and utilizing eLearning platforms to maximize learner engagement and retention.
The preferred candidate will have formal legal education or extensive experience working in a court, and knowledge of adult education principles, skill and ability regarding the development and delivery of adult education programs.
Travel level: up to 25%
